Excuses or Results?

In this fast-running world, we have no idea what we're doing or where we're going but the thing is, no one has time for anything.

"Sorry. I couldn't make it. I was busy and didn't have time."

"Oops. I'm busy. You guys carry on."

EXCUSES! EXCUSES!! EXCUSES!!!

But what do we plan on accomplishing by just giving excuses?

Its easy to give excuses and not finish your project on time- even though you are on an impossible deadline (definitely not based on real events lol) but sucking it up that it was your fault that you wasted an entire semester without doing the project and procrastinated till the last date, takes much of your energy and courage.

You can easily play the victim card - "I was sick", "My grandpa died", "My laptop lost the data" and whatnot, get creative as possible- or pull yourself together and find the means to finish the work.

Its easy to give excuses for not meeting up with your loved ones for lunch and say that you got stuck at work. Instead, you could make the necessary arrangements at work; maybe finish your tasks prior and go meet with them and show them how much they mean to you.

Honestly, its so much more easier to shake your head on an additional responsibility or a task when you have a busy schedule. But that does not mean that you cannot do it.

Even though you are already exhausted and still have to sacrifice your sleep, you MAKE time if you really care about it instead of giving excuses.

You leave early in the morning for work/school/college and come home late at night. You can either say that you do not have time to read the bible and pray or, you can surely FIND time in a 24-hour day for the God that created you.

This is your sign to try and live a life without excuses.

On a personal note, I would like to appreciate a close friend who is away from home, but somehow makes sure to be there for the team. As I said earlier, its much more convenient to just say no when you have other commitments. Especially when you are away from your place, it takes a mental toll on you. But you didn't and took it on yourself to do the work and even chose to spend the weekend for our short film, when you could have just rested at home or gone out for fun. God sure did see his son spending his time and energy for him rather than giving excuses.

Well Deserved Mr. Hamilton, Best Editor!

Also, Thank you Sam for sharing your suggestion for today's content. Much appreciated!
